RTD Contracting’s principle, Ralph Daniels, lived in Atlanta and worked in the construction industry there for over 20 years. In 2002, he moved his company to the scenic mountains of Northern Georgia, settling in Ellijay. Ralph knew that in Ellijay, he had found the perfect balance of rural mountain beauty and modern community. Ellijay is set in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, located approximately 70 miles north of Atlanta — close enough to allow quick trips between the mountains and the big city, yet far enough away to shed the traffic, crime and other hazards that come with living in a major metropolitan area.

Many of the homes Ralph has built since 2002 are located in the Coosawattee River Resort. Coosawattee is a gated community situated on over 10,000 acres of scenic mountain property.
